Q1: What is the framework for Jiris Online system?
The system is built based on Apache Struts Framework and Apache Validator Framework as well as AJAX technology. It is completely i18N enabled, and is built as a Content Management System.

Q2: What database do you use for the system?
We use mySQL 4.1.7, which fully supports UTF-8 encoding.

Q3: How many languages do you support?
Simplified Chinese and English.

Q4：What is your AJAX framework？

Exam Assistant
Jiris Mock Exam Assistant is an AJAX based tool which will aid you to take any certificate mock exam. You need to register and login in order to use it, the below are the features:
  • Automatically calculate mock exam score using JavaScript.
  • Store your mock exam taking history to track your progress.
  • Automatically load correct exam answer using AJAX, if applicable.
  • You can add in new mock exam data, the data is only accessible by you.
To use Exam Assistant, follow below steps (take certificate 310-035 as example):

1. Click Assistant tab to access exam assistant.
 
2. Choose certificate provider. For example, certificate provider for 310-035 is "Sun Microsystem". Click certificate provider initial "S" to list all certificate providers whose name starts with "S".
 
3. List all certificates from the certificate provider by clicking the certificate provider name. For example, all certificates from "Sun Microsystem" are listed as below.
 
4. List all exam providers for one certificate by clicking the certificate. For exam, all exam providers for certificate 310-035 are listed as below.
 
5. List all mock exams from one exam provider by clicking the exam provider name. For example, all mock exams from "Certificate Magazine" as listed as below.
 
6. Click one mock exam to launch exam assistant, the layout is as below:
 
7. Provide your answer. First select one row by clicking the radio button, and then fill you answer into the "Your Answer" column.
 
8. Submit your answer. The system will load correct answer for you, if it is available. Otherwise you need to key in the "Correct Answer" before submitting for score calculation.
 
9. Finish the exam, the result is displayed as below.
